Re: Rideout somewhere this saturday......

If you go through Woburn High street with the entrance to the park on your left ,the road will take you on to the A5 (about 3 miles) and the lights.Turn right and park up........

Re: Rideout somewhere this saturday......

Shame, I can't make it. Got a rather large "erection" to deal with later this morning at an all-girls school in Rickmansworth. In fact it's so big it's gonna take three of us to get it up!!! Still, I'm sure the girls will appreciate all the effort!!!
Enjoy and catch you all at the Red Lion on the 10th hopefully.

Re: Rideout somewhere this saturday......

Wonderful to meet you all today. Just shows me that I really have to get along to more rideouts and other such activities.

Pity I had to leave you, but spare a thought for me, as I left the roundabout near Jacks Hill around 11:15 with the firm goal of getting to J5 on M1 in 45 minutes. Admirable and honestly achievable goal, except when you figure in filering from J13 to J8, so despite all my good intentions, I still ended up waist deep in the brown stuff when I got home 30 minutes after anointed hour.

Oh, what that hell, really enjoyed what I experienced of the ride, and the other stuff is just noise, and we all know that Harleys make more noise than most things, so the Harley won, hands down.

Good day, and thanks to all.

Vince

Re: Rideout somewhere this saturday......

Hi,
yes a good little trip out.
Good breakfast followed by some chat and a ride home via Bedford with Lel.

Here are a few piccies of mine.
A.

And below, my timer cover.
Normal standard ali timer cover sent to me by jester (in Scotland)--lacquer removed with a bit of Nirtromors and then polished--club badge bonded to it.

Thanks to Baza for suggesting it.

Cheers
A.

Re: Rideout somewhere this saturday......

Thanks for a lovely rideout everyone. Nice to meet new faces, and to put faces to some names.

Naseby Fields lot.... nice to meet you all, hope to see you all again soon.
Vince, nice to meet you, sorry to hear you had such a crap ride home
Kitty & SJC69 good to meet you too. Geezer from Banbury (can't remember your name ) nice to meet you too.

All this and topped off with a bacon sarnie, two mugs of coffee, a great ride there and a great ride home with Andy.

I'm looking forward to an Indian Summer now
