Jumping ship

I'm sorry to say people, but I'm afraid I'm leaving region 13:
Me and the family are off up to Darlington (region 3) where we have bought a sodding great house with a proper garage for half the price of our ex-council house in Maidenead
We exchanged contracts today and will move on the 26th of Sept.
I must say that I've made some good friends and acquaintances whilst I've been in the region and shall miss you all, but I'm sure I'll see you at rallies and meets etc, and if you're up this end of the world drop us a line and we could meet up or even put you up for a night or two (I mean that, just pm me first yeah?)
There are some top riding roads around this area and I'm also looking forward to meeting the region 3 guys.
Ride safe and keep in touch OK!
Daddykemp, AKA, Nik.

I hope that this migration has been vetted and approved by Maggar.

Re: Jumping ship

It's okay Tony, Nik has been thoroughly vetted and has signed up to the usual agreement that all southerners escaping to the vastly superior north have to sign which ensures that he will perpetuate the myth of grimness to all other southerners.

The last thing we need is our glorious countryside and wide open spaces up here being filled with mincing southern Jessies wandering about painting their nails, unnecessarily stretching vowels and touching other men's bottoms.

Enjoy Darlo Nik, it's actually a really nice town.

You can get a small town for that up there...

Nik, the Winters are the worst bit--they last fourteen months.

Good luck though,
any chance of a ride out on Saturday, before you go?
