Thumbs up The Lakes Rally 10th ~13th July: Meeting Point and Time

Newport Pagnell Services by the petrol pumps meet Friday 10th at 11 am for a departure no later than 11.30 am.

Then a 200 mile ride, stopping for petrol, ciggies and sarnies and a pee if anyone needs one.

So far those going:

Vincent
Me

DON'T FORGET this event is a three nighter!

i could come that way just to make the ride more interesting!!!

see you there Bazza 320 mls for me a early start anticipated arrival time 7,30 am Friday just in time for breakfast

Soz mate because a few of us live near the M1 in different areas we are the motorway boyz n girls.

NOT the most pleasant route I must admit but we can all stick together and plenty of convenient stops.

Thinking of going up the A1 or possibly the A5, starting off from Cambridge. I avoid motorways like the plague, as the trip to & from a rally is a major part of going to it.

us country folk rise early Bazz, got to milk the cows feed the chicken and plow a field
before breakfast, then ride to the rally.
i hope to leave at about 2,30 am, this beats the traffic in Bristol and Birmingham.
