Woolmer Green Wednesday 1st July

Well folks... sorry about Wednesday.
We were in the US of A and I kinda got my dates all mixed up.... I thought the first wednesday was next week, so didn't sort out the food for the pub Only flew back in from Seattle on Wednesday so were sort of not quite with it so to speak.

Did anyone go along for the ride anyway?

Carl, Eric & me took a ride out from Newmarket via the Essex meet at Halstead. Carl thought we'd get to Woolmer Green in time for free nosh. You'll never believe how disappointed he was when we got there. At least there a few teenagers there for us to chat with, including Kev, Chris, Bob & Barb (who'd already eaten the chips supplied by the pub, bastards).

Ah well, 120 miles covered on a glorious evening, along some pretty good biking roads (and some free rolls for Carl at Halstead anyway, he he).

The chip butties went down a treat so thanks for that Lel, Bit quite early on only me and Pete chewing the fat for a while but good to see Bob Barb chris and big Kev later and the Anglia boys last knockings. Steve.

Turned into a nice little meet - especialy when the wandering Anglians called in on their "World Tour of Essex and Hertfordshire"

Sorry I wasn't very chatty - was on me way home from fixing a breakdown in York and had to be up to go to Ireland next day - so one quick pint and on me way (after I'd scoffed the chips of course!!)

I'm glad you all got fed and "watered", sounds like the pub did me proud on a panic phone call at about 7.30 on wednesday!! I will be on the phone to them tomorrow to thank them for looking after my mates
