Welcome to the forum.

That nutter rode all the way to the next watering hole, and when we arrived there, some people were watching us and taking photos. You cannot imagine the look on their faces when he rode in and they tried to work out what he was wearing.

Priceless.

The poor bloke standing by the side of the road was my brother, and I was working on the basis that if he was able to stop, he would be able to start again, and he was. Nuff said.

Route was awesome, and I cannot wait to do it again.

Not rude in the slightest, actually perfectly valid question.

Flights ranged from £450 to £900 depending on World traveller/world traveller plus on BA This was for London to SF and Phoenix to London

Bike hire was $175 per day + one way bike hire surcharge of $175

I added a sat nav onto my bike for $100 (worthwhile if you get separated)

Total Hotel costs about £500, but we stayed at Caesars Palace in Vegas (well you kind of have to don't you) and then the hotel at Grand Canyon was a bit toppy approx $120 per night

Fuel honestly about $10-15 per day
Total mileage about 1600 miles

Hope this helps.

Vince
