Honest, Kim, I tried persuading Carl we should play nice, but he insisted I swore in the title of the thread. Eric, too, wanted to keep it calm, but you know how mean Carl can be. Of course, it was that bastard Carl's suggestion we take a photo of us three beneath the pub sign. I don't think Charley's suggestion he move his only Central South steed out of the way helped the decision-making process though.

If Carl hadn't been playing with his knife collection whilst we were drinking coffee at his (up-market) flat (over-looking the river, with moorings) on our way back towards Cambridge, I would never have made such a comment about Baza's boys.

Never mind that we made a special effort to get over to THEIR meeting place. Never mind we very nearly got soaked on the way back. Never mind we had to keep the speed down in case the wind ripped Carl's arms off, Never mind etc., etc.
