Holiday 2009 Photos - Switzerland etc

Five of us went for hols through Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France. 2850 miles .

Lots of high passes, great food and great company, and a Bruce concert in Turin to boot... fantastic!!!

Looks truly amazing. Will definitely want to know more next time we meet.
Can you send me the complete route as I am thinking of doing something like that next year.

Thanks,

Vince

Nice pics, toured Switzerland on my bike a couple of times, great views to be had from the passes..

I enjoyed Grimsel & Furka passes near Interlarken & Luzern, and Neufernen pass over near the Swiss- Italian border..

Not been for about 10yrs though, need to plan another trip...

Oh sorry for any bad spelling i struggle with English let alone Swiss!..

Glad to update you when we see you next. As for the route, that's Jon's expert area, I know it's on the Garmin somewhere.

We stayed mainly in hotels where we tried to limit it to 50 euros for a double room inc breakfast. Didn't always succeed but came close. We did book it all before we went as there were originally 7 of us and we didn't want to chance not getting somewhere together. If you're travelling in a small group though you can wing it like we did for part of last year. Do it on the bike not in the car

Hiya, we did the Furker Pass and loads of others last year and loved it so much we had to go back again this year. We did a couple of the passes again this year and enjoyed them just as much and saw things this year that we didn't see last year. Just want to go back again
