Re: May be a problem?

have you left one of them USB memory sticks plugged in and is the pc set to boot from C: or some other device.
It looks like the end of the message is refering to some problem with your hard drive. When the pc's up and running, give it a check with the error check option in C: right click/properties/tools/error check

Re: May be a problem?

Also if you do have a mass storage device attatched and the PC is picking it on boot,

Your Bios settings may be set so as to look at USB/network devices first.

If its not set in the bios as a primary selection (I.E its set to detect after your HDD) it means your HDD (Hard Drive) is not working. and it thinks the USB MSD is where your boot.ini is. Remove all devices from the USB nad/or network connection and try booting again. if nothing is attatched the PC will attempt a normal boot from the HDD, if this fails, its poss you need a new HDD

Re: May be a problem?

I didn't quite have this prob but when i used my USB stick the bios thought that it should boot from this there after.

I had to go into the bios and alter the boot preferences back to where i had them before.

Normally CD, floppy, HD0. After that no probs.
