Virusburster!

Have been infected with popups saying I have critical system errors and back door trojans. What they want is for me to download their antispyware. The two that's giving me grief are Virusburster and malwarewipe. Any idea how I can get rid of these pests?

Just ran a system restore programme and that seems to have sorted it

Hi Uggy, this may sound a bit daft but, if and when your system settles down, turn off the system restore (which will clear out all your restore points) and then turn the restore back on.
I say this as virus and bad stuff can hide in the restore points which Anti Virus scanners cannot get into to clean the crap.
To turn off restore- explore your computer-right click My Computer, select properties, on the box there will be a "System Restore" tab. Check the "turn off system restore, Apply the changes and wait till it has deleted the restore points. When that's done, uncheck the "turn off System restore" and apply that. Ok out of the box and that's it done.

Only do this if you are sure you computer is running ok.
