| E-Mails slowing down my computer today
A real pain in the arse today, I have received three seperate e-mails each one 18 times all showing the same time they were sent. I thought that once you had received one e-mail at that time from that same sender, you would not receive it again unless it was then forwarded to you, which you would be able to see. The problem is one of these e-mails has a music attachment and of course it is taking for ever, and so blocking my inbox Help, what can I do, I have redirected all of these mails to my spam folder but it still slows the computer down. Any help appreciated

Hi John, i am assuming you are downloading the mails to Outlook or something similar. If you can get connected to your mail on the ISP by using a browser you can delete the ones that are causing you hassles and then when you fire up the email client on your pc and drag the mails down the offending ones should not be there. had to this once to stop a virus laden mail getting downloaded, it worked for me ok. Hope this is of use.

If your ISP provides a webmail solution then use that and delete these e-mails before they are downloaded to your PC.
