New IE release

I see that Microsoft has just released IE 8 after whatever Beta testing is. Anyone installed it yet, any problems or any advice, is it a vast improvement or just marginal. Not being an expert 'puter person I don't want to do anything to cock things up. I am already going to be changing my phone supplier and ISP next week, and don't want to complicate things.

Yes. It's crap, uses load of system resources, pain to use, susceptible to malware attacks.... Do yourself a favour and use Firefox instead

Just down loaded Mozilla Fire Fox 3 and after years of using IE I will not be going back to it. Thanks Roger for the advice as Firefox is supersonic compared to IE7 which is a biplane in comparison to an F16.

Firefox is pretty good but in my opinion Google Chrome is even better. Very fast and if your computer crashes it saves your open windows. You can also search directly in the address bar.
