Go to the Virgin website to find if you can get cable. If they use your present phone line it probably won't be any faster.

Latest is:

Staying with AOL but going over to their telephone line and BB which I already have.

£26 a month for up to 8GB (guaranteed 3GB) upload plus 24/7 free land line telephone calls NO rental to BT.

The reason they can do the line from exchange better is because from the exchange they fit some box to our new independent line!!!...???

We will wait and see. I have it in email writing that I have a special 2-3 months satisfaction before the 18mth contract is binding!

But if I can get 3GB upload it has got to be better than the 180ish kb's I have been getting down to fecking 13kb's upload sometimes.

They credited my account £50 so I do not have to pay in theory for the new wi/router.

Well he said he would put his house on it that I will get 3GB download after I have the aol phone line with the booster at the exchange.

You will not be getting a 3GB download speed. The inner rings are only operating as 2.4Gb and large companies are running on multiples of 100MB.
