Anyone had problems with AVG 8.5

Was wondering if anyone else has had problems.

Since I uploaded the newer version the old PC has been a real pain, crashing, not closing down, not loging off, not opening up

I've now removed it and uploaded HITMAN PRO 3 and its working fine again, although my Windows security alert is telling me I have no Anti virus protection, which Hitman pro is supposed to be??????

Confused. ( easily done on PC's)

I've been running it with no problems since it came out,with the amount of stuff in the virus vault,it seems to be doing a good job.
Where did you download from?

I had problems with an earlier version of AVG - generally slowed the machine down to an unacceptable level and caused shut-down problems. I changed over to Avast (free edition) and have had no issues since.

Loads of problems with AVG, Slowed my computer down loads. Took 10 mins from turning on to internet connection, loads of screen freeze, complete shutdowns, sometimes unable to shutdown. Best thing I did was uninstall AVG and change to Norton.
