Comodo Problems?

Anyone having problems with Comodo?

Ive got Windows Vista Backup & Restore Centre doing a full weekly backup to a spare internal hard drive. All has worked well until about three weeks ago when the Anti Virus part of Comodo has been blocking access as soon as the software starts to write the compressed files to the disk.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Karl

Re: Comodo Problems?

Hi Roger

It says its picked it up in the "Antivirus Events" - I think it thinks its a Trojan Downloader (whatever that is).

Thanks

Re: Comodo Problems?

There's a post on the Comodo technical forums describing a bug in Comodo AV that causes backups to fail under Vista

Re: Comodo Problems?

Thanks Roger - I couldn't find any reference on a search to Vista Backup - just the Comodo Backup. Ive disabled the real time virus scanner for the time being and this seems to have stopped the backup fail problem.

Re: Comodo Problems?

Dont forget to turn the realtime scanner back on after the back.

Cheers
