Re: Progress reports

I'm completely re-building a 74 Norton Commando at the moment, but no HD stuff at the moment mores the pity, just waiting for Kev Scriv to do a straight swop with me for his VL against my 1959 AJS 350 in oily rag condition, its a good starter and runner, and i don't mind if the VL needs a bit of work either

Re: Progress reports

I sprayed a coat of etch primmer and two coats of high build, but its to cold and damp to get any base coats on yet, rebuilt the motor top end though. Its far to cold to make any real progress,- it almost snowed today,-not good

Re: Progress reports

Paint's finished on the Shovel, fired up for the first time at the weekend.

I'm nearly good to go. Latest pics follow in a few days.

Sign it's almost ride time, it's just started snowing.

Re: Progress reports

10 coats of clear sounds well worth 350 to me.
Why is it painters and airbrush artists are always deemed as charging shitloads for their work?
Not a dig just a topic for conversation.
Once your gear is bolted on the cost will be a distant memory.
Look forward to seeing pics devil-uk.
