Re: Valuation Please

''how long is a piece of string'' ???

That's the answer, I'm afraid.

Rule 1 (One) states: You never get back what you put into a bike.

You could have all the receipts for all that stuff and someone would still want to barter obscenely, buy it, dump the raked front end and throw away the chrome stuff. It does happen.

It's a customised Sportster. Worth far more to you than the next guy/gal. Or the insurance company.

That's probably why no one has answered. Or indeed, *CAN* answer.

If it is for insurance purposes, add all that stuff up and value accordingly.

If it is for a sale, expect a whole lot less than what you thought. That's the way it goes, even though it's a looker. The front end will put some off.

Sorry, I can't tell you a figure either!

Re: Valuation Please

As Kiwidave says .. unfortunately all the cash & effort you've put into may not be to a buyer's taste. Best bet might be to take it to a few different shops/dealers & get a rough figure that they would offer you then put it on ebay. There it'll be seen by a wider audience than a local paper or shop ..

Re: Valuation Please

Yep, just there is no local shops and/or dealers near me to go visit really.

I've asked on a few sites just to get a rough idea

I've had one that I was happy with and was the figure I had on mind.

Thanks
