Three minute Bobber: The Great British Budget Bobber Build-Off 1

Informative, hilarious or just good fun?

We're running a British Budget Bobber Build Off to demonstrate that you can build a respectable custom bike for less than the price of an new XLH883, and using the miracle of science we've got the first stage of one of them - Boneshaker Choppers' Flyrite - in its dry build form as a timelapse video, which I reckon has worked out brilliantly (not that I'm biased) - think it's the last time that Benny will ever be called Benny Thomas.

Before anyone gets carried away, it might have condensed the dry build down to three minutes, but working at that speed his hourly rate would give your bank manager a heart attack

... and yes, we do know it's not strictly speaking a Bobber in the purest sense of the word, but I really can't be ar5ed wil labels anymore: would have called it a biker build-off, but I'm guessing Discovery would probably take a dim view of that

Have fun ... it'll all be less offensive than the next upload to those of you with a sensitive disposition: going to try and choreograph the Victory Vegas's air-suspension going up and down if I can find the right tune: I can feel a search for an Elvis Costello track coming on ... that or Chumbawhumba.

The spare two were officials from the International Olympics Committee: we're trying to get it included in the 2012 games.
