Bronze plating

I've tried all the searches I can think of and I still can't find anyone who does what I want so I could do with a few suggestions from all you wise people out there as to how I get some parts (big & small) bronze plated. Hopefully not too far from Stratford upon Avon - cheers

Re: Bronze plating

It looks bloody nice, doesn't it?

I just assume that whenever I see something like that, it has been expertly powdercoated just the right shade.

I would try your local coaters.

(think: Subaru wheels)

Re: Bronze plating

Cheers Dave but what I want is the actual jobby & not a powder coating. I trained as a sculptor and bronze caasting was/is my thing. I kinda want my bike to have some of that in it, and besides I think that a black and bronze nightrain would look bloody good

Re: Bronze plating

Hi Tee

You could try ringing these.

Bryony Metal Treatments on 0117 983 0027.

Unit 4, Douglas Rd Ind Park, Douglas Rd, Bristol BS15 8PD

Bryony Metal Treatments

Don't know if they do Bronze.... but we use them for zinc plating and other specilized plating, if they cannot do Bronze, they may be in the know as who could. Worth a try

Re: Bronze plating

Cheers - when I'm in full health I travel to Brizzl for my weekly Karate sessions so I'l give them a call next week. It'll give me a reason for traveling the 70 over there again. I kinda stick to my other martial arts at the moment so I stay around Stratford and Gloucester but I used to live in Henleaze, hence the Karate club.

Re: Bronze plating

Cheers Shaun/Dave already found them. I was hoping to find somewhere I could get to between the end of school and the start of Kendo that's all.
