Christmas meal

Hi all, just a quick reminder, we decided at the last monthly meet that wed go for a meal at the May Sum restaurant on Babington Lane, Derby. DE1 1TD, on the 8th of December. This is a buffet style restaurant serving Chinese, Cantonese, Sichuan, Thai and Japanese dishes.They will also cook some English dishes if required. Names and a £5 deposit please at next months meeting (4th Nov) Coops

Just to let you know, the table (a big one) has been booked for 8:00pm. Thought we'd gather there at 7:30 ish.

We'll be meeting in a boozer before that for those that want to come out to play earlier. I'll let you know where and what time etc.

If anyone wants to come who can't make the next meeting to pay their deposits, let me have your £5 before the meeting as I will be paying the money to the restaurant on Monday 5th November.

After the meal we'll be playing it by ear for those that want to party on.

Everything is now sorted for the 8th. The table is booked and the deposits for 26 people will be paid on Saturday.

The total cost for the meal is £15 per person (it's normally £11.95 but during December this includes a disco afterwards - I think this happens at about 10pm after we've eaten). Balance to pay on the night is £10 each.

For those that want to meet earlier we'll be meeting at 6pm in Babingtons (the Wetherspoons pub a few doors up) for a few beers first, then make our way to the restaurant at about 7:30 ish. The table is booked for 8pm. Afterwards we can either stay for the disco or go walkabout whatever we choose.
