Re: Hello, Fish from the Ribcrackers here!

It was really, really good. Its been a long time since went to a Ribcrackers do and I'd forgotten what good fun it could be. It was lovely to catch up with lots of people that I'd not seen for ages and I especially liked the first band on Friday night (although I accept they wouldn't be everyones cup of tea). We'll be back!!

Re: Hello, Fish from the Ribcrackers here!

Hey Fish how is the bike performing these days after all the aggro you had?

I have been seeing Lel and John at our regional meets and they said they had a great time at your rally with their guest, she really enjoyed it.

Any news on your mate who has gone to NCC Herts?

Roger, wilco.
We intended to come over, if not just for a day. But life got in the way as it often does and we were double booked. But will make sure we're there this year. Not much excuse other than prior commitments really, I only live 3 or so miles from Lumb, and we're there every Sunday night anyway.

Which reminds me, if you're at a loose end one Sunday night 8pm onwards, we meet in the bar for a pint and a chinwag, feel free to pop along for one, everyone's welcome.

Bike 'seems' ok now, though off the road now the salt is down. Thundercity managed to sort it by swapping stuff off a donor bike, but still never came up with a definitive answer as to what the fault was. Harley remained indifferent throughout, which was very disappointing.

John and Lel are great aren't they? Popped in to see them when I was down that way on business a few weeks ago. Paula's a Ribs member now too. Will be seeing the three of them at a rally in December soon.

As for our NCC friend, I believe he is ok. He's been thinking of the back patch thing for a while and the opportunity arose. He's gotten well into milling bits and bobs for his and other bikes and has a mate with a polishing shop so is around and involved with the 'chopping / modifying' thing. Good luck to him, hope it all pans out ok.

I'll follow the link now Baza and try and get the membership thing sorted. I am getting my HarleyQuin magazine though so must be registered even if the membership card etc has gone astray.

Glad everyone who attended the rally enjoyed it. I managed to leave site at 2pm Monday, so it's good to get feedback to make it all worthwhile!

Ride safe!
