POKER RUN 2008 - 25th ANNIVERSARY

Thank you to the organisers. I had a great time, but like Tee, I don't remember who won what. Are ther any pictures?

This is my first year of owning a HD, and being a member of a biking club. I have never owned a tent or done anything like that. I now realise that you can go 24 hours without a wash and no one takes blind bit of notice of you as lond as you stand down wind!

This year I did Talgarth, Naseby, Oswestry (sort of) and finaly the Poker Run. Each one is different and I now know which type of rallies I like. I'm just peed off that the summer is over and I will be wishing my life away until the next season of rallies start.

You could go to the Centrum rally next weekend. Anyway, we visited the pokerrun And we had a great time. The food was good, we took the good weather with us and back to Holland for our rally. Forecast for next weekend dry sunny 18021 degrees, see you all at centrum Andre

The best weekend (for us so far) Thanks to Boris, Vicky, Yam Yam, Taz for making us both feel so welcome. Couldn't do the ride out (just not cut out to riding in a large group) so me and Linda hit Southend for the day, made even better by the Shrew's winning 7-0. Lastly thanks to our neighbors (sorry i didn't get your names) for trying to help us fix our airbed. What a weekend and what a club

BTW you can go much longer than 24 hours without a wash, shave and change of clothes. You ask any of my work colleages.

Well it was like this Liz it went up........we went off to party...and it went down. The Air bed that is. Oh and just as we were packing up on Sunday Linda found the White bung in one of the bags which was the cause of the problem in the first place. Still a brilliant fantastic weekend with the very best people there are

Well, another Poker Run over and done with...thanks a million to all who turned up to rally and party with us, we all had a great weekend also.

The weather turned out great in the end but Friday let us down a bit what with the heavy rain until mid afternoon...not sure whether this is what affected the numbers as we were down a bit from previous years.

I'll ask around the region for any pictures and post them here as soon as I can...if anyone else took any photos of the bike show, or any others from the weekend, please post on this thread.

That's it for another year...not sure on who will be organising next years as our AGM is tonight and there will be some changes....I'm sure the Poker Run will continue as good as the last 25 years...
