Hi All

Thanks for coming over last night - and I am glad you liked the food - the steaks are good..

Barb was pleased to see you too - and after you left we discussed getting more bikers back to the pub, so heres hoping.

I hope we can do it again soon, if anyone is interested the Subterraneans are playing there this Friday - they are a good band, lots of good rock covers.

I am away next week, but otherwise either me, Brian or Martin are there most evenings.

It was a good evening, good company, a couple of beers, and I only had to walk home!

If anyone has any ideas for future get togethers, let me know.

Its Ash - a duo - father and daughter - they do a range of covers - not my taste, but they are popular.

This Friday is 'Faze 4' apparently they have been in the Crown before, but I cant remember them - must have been a good night!

I have had a word with a bloke about getting the old bikers group back to the pub, and they might be up for it.

How was Mersea?
