7-8 Feb weekend events in Essex

First off

The Essex Region 16 Winter Party on Saturday 7th Feb, tickets cost £5 per person with a Band, Finger Buffet and raffle (some of which may cost an extra donation to enter/partake).

Secondly..

The Essex Bikers Club is doing a run on Sunday 8th Feb from the White Hart in Little Waltham (CM3 3NY) to a diner on the A127.
This run is to give a terminally ill person (who has possibly less than 3 months to live) a ride on a motorbike.
Essex Goldwing club have offered a Wing with sidecar to head the event.
Meeting at 10:00 to leave at 11:00

Lastly...

East London (Region 69) are having their meet at the Bull in Blackmore End (CM4 0RR) which is just outside Chelmsford on the Ongar Road.

I bet the wife will want to go shopping Saturday morning, England are playing against Italy Saturday afternoon, one of the grand-childern will want to go train-spotting Sunday morning,Wales are playing Scotland Sunday afternoon and then its Monday

where has the week end gone?????

Turned up at the White Hart Last, Frozen stiff from the ride only to find out that not only was there no party booked they denied nowing anyone in the club.
was the ride out with the goldwing club a wind up to?
Dont why i joined this lot suppose they are bunch of virtual bikers who ride round there front rooms all summer.

You certainly got the details wrong on this one friend.
The regions party was on Saturday and the ride out was organised by another club for Sunday, the two events being completely separate affairs.

FYI, the next CLUB meet will be on Wednesday 18th FEb at the Anchor in Stratford St Mary.
I will come in the car 'cos I'm a wimp (and 58years young).

I live in Witham and ride a 2002 Sportie when I like, not cos I have to.

Thanks to the Essex boys and girls for a most entertaining evening at possibly one of the best pubs I've ever been to, great atmosphere, friendly locals and the buffet was a real treat,(that must have cost you)... I thought I saw viagra Phil but I must have been mistaken!

Syd said it would be a simple affair and he would cover the expenses.

Now I suppose I will have to withdraw funds from the account.

Still, the money was money earned by members, for the members, and spent by the members.....so whats the worry
