Essex HDRCGB details

Hi All
Live in Romford and been browsing the site for a while. Harley rider for too many years to remember and looking for a good club, maybe none HOG to get involved with. Just traded my 06 CVO Ultra for a 09 Road King Classic in Turquoise and Antique White, very nice too.
Can you tell me when and where you meet and anything else that may come in handy
I have £31 brning a hole in my pocket waiting for a worthy cause
Cheers

All the previous Essex region threads if you scroll down will let you know the different meeting places...as far as £31 burning a hole in your pocket we often suggest that you go and meet a few people or do a rally and see if you like what you see then decide.

We are a 60 year club that is run my the members NOT the MoCo and as in HOG we have many members that do big mileage and we mostly camp than log cabin...I say mostly.

We have a great search facility here on the site most questions have been asked before so have a good look around and BTW welcome.

This old thread may be interesting to you???

Do you know 88b Dave Shean and Chris Hall Bunmaster?

Re: Essex HDRCGB details

Welcome bosshog,

the Essex region has 2 meets per month, both on Wednesday evenings, starting at approx 8pm.
One is on the first Wednesday of the month at The Griffin in Halstead,
the other is on the Fourth Wednesday of the month at The Anchor in Straford St Mary.

You will always be welcome to attend the region 69 (East London) meets as well, they meet at The Bull in Blackmore on the Second and Fourth Sunday of the Month starting at approx 1pm.

Also Maverick runs a meet at AHCC in Maldon on Saturday mornings.

There seems to be a lot of new members from the south/eadt of the region and we are looking for a suitable meeting point, preferably during a Saturday or Sunday of the Odd weeks of the month.

All suggestions welcome.

Check out the other posts in the Essex region forum for more info or pm me.

I'm ride an Orange/Black sportie out of Witham.

See ya soon

Re: Essex HDRCGB details

A bunch of us meet up Saturday lunchtimes at a pub near Rochford (Southend way), also some Sunday mornings at the Motorcycle Museum at Battlesbridge, or the new 127 Diner. PM me for directions.

No it's a small Museum but a good meeting point. Better bike parking than the Barge, plus a better coffee bar than the 1 up 5 flights of stairs in the old mill

Gypsy

I just want to check that you realise it's a small museum, and all British bikes - it certainly ain't Beaulieu or National M/C Museum?

I assume you'll come in via Dartford Tunnel, so take lefthand tunnel and exit M25 on A13 east, when you get to the crazy junction of 7 roundabouts (Sadlers Farm) take A130, then 1st exit (Wickford) and follow signs to Battlesbridge. just after the station on the left is Maltings Rd take thsi, pass parade of shops and you will see an iron gate on the left - level withe the 'g' in 'Maltings' on the pic. Museum is on the right, bikes park anywhere there is a space near the museum. Coffee bar is opposite the museum.

I will try to re-arrange my plans, and meet you there.
