Thank you all for turning up and making our Poker Rally a success in fun and enjoyment.
We also made a tasty profit to boot

I am sorry about the signage problem, it was something we(I) forgot to do and they were a hurried lash-up.

Proper signs will be in place next year.

The dates for next year are Friday 19th September to Sunday 12th September.
Put the Poker Run in your diares now.

Another silly thing I did was to borrow my wifes mobile( I don't have one), not telling anybody the number, and leaving it switched off all week-end.....DOH.

I will get my very own mobile now and put the info in the Quin.


Maybe see you peeps at the RTTW in October.

Really enjoyed my stay, Friday night was a proper hoot, though we had to turn in early as Brig was getting a little frisky!
Food was good, although I nearly wound Big Al in as I was twisting the noodles round my fork!!
Whose idea was it to have a whip. It destroyed best part of the group! Nice shout after a gallon of Guinness and a leftover game pie DP......Port!
what Big Steve doesn't know about Malden now is not worth knowing.
Region 17's colours were spread right across the floor (and most of the campsite!)
In the morning accompanying a bellow of "Made It!!" William J Pettit (late IOW) managed to ablute in the appropriate convenience, although the last 50 yard dash was a bit of a mince!! I'm sure his Rallying undies were relieved!
Shame that scruffy B*stard Bolden let the side down with his threadbare clothes.
As for the poker, took our group half an hour to get out of the campsite carpark, then onto the first pub and the group split in 5 different directions, which was quite an achievement seeing as there were only three roads to chose from!! so Podda Brig and myself thought we'd take a gamble on the excellent seafood shack for a romantic lunch Seafood platter with a side order of cod & Chips.
Saw a perplexed John T pass by on his own several times trying every road.
Made it out of Essex only to find Kent Plod to flag me over on the four lane death defying A2 re number plate and exhaust. Makes you really proud to see our boys upholding every shred of the law!!

Its the 10th to the 12th of September 2010..(is that OK?)

You still didn't get a pic of me in BLACK, so all those rumours could be false and you can't include my gay 70's orange and black jacket (?) that I am under orders to wear by the person that handed it down to me through the family.

I dried out "THE SHIRT" on Saturday and wore that instead of the Tee for the evening, much more ME don't you think?

Anyway, thanks to all the people that turned up.
The site said it was a pleasure to have us as they had approx 2500 Scooter Boys the previous week-end, so ours was a nice relaxing week-end for them.

Must get back to the accounts now as our AGM is coming up ( Wednesday 21st October @ the ANCHOR in Stratford St Mary 8pm start- all welcome but only card holders can vote)

also I am sure I had a conversation with a Meercat or was it Mirak??
Must go check it out.
