Hi Chilly, if you fancy a bit of old fashened bodgery, somewhere in the gubbins between the lever and the piston will be something rodish. This could be shortened a tad, letting the lever come in closer to the bar, as long as you shorten it a tiny bit at a time you shouldn't bottom the lever out.

Had a quick look at doing that Ron till bloody fluid started coming out , so i thought maybe theres another way folks might have got over this without that hassle , i have bloody big dislike with frigging about with brake fluid etc .
