| Re: Evo performance upgrade
As well as the above getting the heads skimmed to increase the compression ratio plus a Good! 3 angle valve seat job will make an evo go like stink, & still be reliable, if you decide to change the heads look at the S&S heads they do for 80" street motors they already have all the mods & are very reasonably priced, I'll also reccomend Matts, very helpfull.

| Re: Evo performance upgrade points ignition - no rev limiter and better advance curve than standard mikuni or S&S carb decent 2 into 1 exhaust system EV27 EV3 or EV35 cam or somthing very similar free flowing airfilter and if you want to spend a little more money get your heads flowed, 5 angle valve gring and shave about 50 thou off them to up the compression its not rocket science, the motor is basically an air pump the more air you can pump in and out the more power you make Last edited by Kiwi; 09-09-2009 at 09:02 PM. I'll still stand by what I posted. I have had nothing but good service and good results from Matt and I am happy to recommend him. Everywhere will have its supporters and detractors. |
