help

Hi i have recently bought a 1340 evo chop it has a external oil filter can anyone help me to date the engine i have looked at a few sites but all double dutch to me i have the engine No it reads dkm*****9
any help would b great

evos were built from 1984 till 2000, they ALL have external oil filters, If you contact HD uk they should be able to date your engine if you give them the full engine number

Harley VIN Identification
Note that the engine number for the evo years should be all letters & numbers if they are HD crankcases.

Are you sure these are Harley cases? Sounds like the start of a set of Delkron numbers to me.

Hi thanks to all for replys i took engine number of log book but after closer look at engine after girlyglides sugestion ref delkron she was quite right delkron cases they r
