| Shorter clutch cable needed
I`ve just fitted a pair of low drag bars to my 96 Fatboy - Looks good apart from what seems like yards of extra clutch cable. I measured the existing cable which was 64", Can anyone tell me where I can get a 58" to 60" . Do all Harley clutch cables have the same fittings, only difference being the lenght ? the reason I ask, in the CC catalogue they show shorter cables but are listed for Sportsters or FXR models - nothing shorter other than stock for FLSTF .

the other option is to shorten the existing clutch cable local shop shortened one of my cables £10 which was a lot cheaper than a replacement cable |

''fits FXR'', ''fits FXSTC'' etc all relate to the stock handlebar and thus length. take your old one in to compare, but you might be pleasantly surprised. Also ask the dealer if they have some old stock take-offs in a bin (a lot of people play silly money for pointless cable bling) Graeme's idea above is sound, though. |

Cheers lads - thanks for the info, I like the idea of the cable being shortened.
