| stainless parts
This aint quite the right place for this i know but here goes. I am looking to replace the chrome strip that runs down the centre of my FXR tank. I want to make one out of stainless, can anyone recommend a place in the south that deals in small amounts. Most want to sell you a whole sheet of the damm stuff. Ideally i would like polished or a good finish to start with but i have my own polishing mops and have beem making some brackets for varoius bits on my bike. When polished i think it look better than chrome, plus i am a lazy bugger. There was a post some time back when someone made his own stainless parts but i am dammed if i can find it. chhers
