Re: Aint goin back !!!

Take off the air cleaner Rob. While looking into the intake open & close the throttle. See if the little butterflys or the throttle shaft are sticking, which is fairly common. You can get a can of carb or brake clean & fix it up. With the air cleaner off have a look around the right side (toward the front) & make sure that when you operate the throttle nothing is sticking at he bottom end of the cables. Again you can clean it up with brake clean, then maybe spray some WD40 on it.

Make sure the twist grip isn't rubbing against the switch gear, maybe squirt a bit of lube inbetween there matey,or silicone lube.

Yep Id check the twist grip as Chilly said, wallop a load of grease in it. Its easy to undo just a couple of screws. Then work your way down the the butterfly leaver, aka Phil.

No, no, no grease. It will make the throttle sticky & when dirt gets in gritty. Any quality LIQUID teflon, or moly graphite lube.

Yep,i meant a lube like wd 40 or silicone spray directed between the switch gear and the rubber on the twist grip, not grease
