Well that's them fitted and MOT'd and yes I know it needs a wash! Just need some black heat shields now. Anybody got any in a shed anywhere?

Could get the chrome ones powder coated. Should only cost you £20-30.

spray your original heat shields with plasticote bbq spray paint. £6 from B&Q or a fiver from wilkinsons. i used it on my chrome v&h shortshots. painted 2 years ago and no chips or scuffs. durable, cheap and comes out with a satin finish which looks good. if you want it off borrow your mrs nail polish remover - brings it off cleanly with no damage to chrome. see below Last edited by sexpanther; 23-07-2012 at 07:11 PM.
