Change Speedo To KPH

Does anyone know what's involved in changing the speedo from MPH to KPH and any idea how much it might cost? Ie: change speedo, ICM 'reflash' (or whatever), etc?

Buy the new speedo & plug it in. I`m presuming it`s for your 05 883.
If you want I can look up a price at work tomorrow.

No it's not for my bike, I'm asking for a guy in the USA who's on a Sportster forum I'm on; don't know why he wants to do it.

I have a KPM speedo on my 2004 1200XLC here in Saudi, which I will need to swap for a MPH one when I take the bike back to the UK. Maybe we could arrange something...

I have a 1998 Dyna superglide KPH speedo which i want to swap ( pronto) for a MPH (SVA test) Can you (Folkie) email this to the other forum as I dont want to join for one item. Oh and he has to swop for the same model year range (eg mine only up to 1999)
The Harley shop want £280 for one -arg!!!
