Hi all - Didn't know where to post this, but as I've only ever posted here... Birthday this week, and as I've just got my Sporty, I fancied nipping over to one of the nearest H-D Dealers to treat myself. I'm looking for a H-D Lid, Gloves, Leather Jeans etc etc.....so mainly clothing as opposed to bike hardware. Does anyone know which of these stores - Chapel Ash, or the one in Stockport - is better for the above gear?? Do both carry such things or just bikes?? What's more I'm taking my daughter with me on the train (she loves trains!!) so I was wondering which dealers is closest to the town centres?? Gonna do lotsa toy stores, have a nice meal and make the day of it. Would be cool if there were some other stores selling bike stuff in the area too (I don't ask for much do I!!!! )If anyone has any ideas on the above ('specialy the H-D dealers, as neither have websites) I'd be extremely grateful!!! | Re: Wolverhampton or Stockport Dealers?
Hi, The Wolverhampton dealer is about 15 minutes walk from the train station. They do stock helmets and other clothing items but be warned they aint cheap! There are a couple of motorcycle accessory shops in Wolverhampton virtually opposite each other on Worcester street.

Hi My advice is steer clear of Chapel Ash. They will, if they even bother to speak to you, will be very expensive. There is a Harley place in Aston, Birmingham though. They are ok.

Well, I steered clear of Chapel Ash, and went to Harley Manchester (which is in Stockport!?!). It was a bloody lovely place - a veritable Shangri-La for Harley-Lovers. But By God! Is it pricey!!!! They were a lovely bunch o' folks though, and they had plenty of stuff going on for the little 'uns too!! My eldest girl loved it - balloon races, free scran - they even gave her a Harley Teddy Bear!! I was seriously impressed - genuinely nice people too. I did pick up a few bits 'n' bobs - there was 10% off most things for the day - although things were still steep even with the discount Anyways cheers for the advice folks, it seems avoiding Chapel Ash was a good move.
