| Rear Shock upgrade alternatives
Has anyone got any recommendations for ugraded rear shocks for my 1200R. The originals are worse than dreadful. I want to keep the original ride height. Hagon list replacements for pre-rubbermount types but knowing them will probably do something for the R. I've also looked at Ohlins. The top of the range Ohlins are a bit out of my price range (by about £350!) but the list some cheaper types. Anybody got any experience of what works on UK roads and what doesn't? |

Progressive Suspension 412's - just fitted them to Nics Sporty....had them on my old sporty and my old FXR, brilliant for the money! - and you can drop the back end an inch or so while you're at it. U.k. try 1066 or else ebay......

there are so many after market shocks on the market that the world is yout lobster. It totally depends on what you want what you weigh are you going two up your riding style and so it goes on. ive used hagon very good company. Ive use fournales nightmare. Ive stuck sports glide shocks on for that hard feel, five way with top rebound adjustment. 2 things to consider, spring value and damping value. |

I put some progressives on, they were good on handling but started leaking oil 1 month out of waranty only done 4000 - 5000 miles. I've got Hagons on now they seem good but not really been tested yet. I'll see what they're like going to Talgarth. Alan |
