Good US source for parts reqd

I don't like windshields but I'm about to start a job that will require a 20 mile each way motorway trip every day. The genuine Harley, quick release screen looks pretty good (that way I can take it off easily after work) but they cost an absolute fortune in the UK. Even Guernsey Harley charge £300.

I've seen them listed for less than $300 in the states but finding somewhere that ships to the UK is proving tricky.

Any recommendations?

I've had good experience with Dennis Kirk recently. www.denniskirk.com
Ordered on a Friday, received Wednesday. Only slight downside - they wanted a fax or scan of my CC (for the first order only)

Re: Good US source for parts reqd

I saw a post in the Virtual Rally section recommending M&M. I had a look and they were selling a new, genuine HD quick release screen for about half what they are from Guernsey Harley. Even with postage and possible customs it worked out much less than I'd pay in the UK.

Assuming it turns up, I've got a bargain. (not that I consider paying nearly £200 for a bit of perspex that much of a bargain!)

I'd second that. Just got my Mustang seat from them. Unlike some places, they will actually listen to what you say and ship stuff the cheapest way if you want (USPS air letter post or air parcel post), not just always use UPS.

Prices may be better, but they don't seem to have much of a range of stuff, and I didn't find their site very easy or very nice to use.

I like J&P's site where they have a huge range, and it's easy to navigate; you can even specify what your bike is and filter down what's shown to just include stuff that's relevant.
