Re: Suspension

sportster shocks allways have been dire to say the least, I dont know why they even fit a pillion set, unless the two of you are complete anorexics.

you could do worse than give Hagon a bell they can build a shock to your specs for little money.

I even fitted superglide shocks in the past, they worked but seriously expensive to just go out and buy.

Re: Suspension

Like Simon says, Harley rear suspension is a poor apology at best, you could try Progressive suspension. They are a pretty good mid-range company.

Question Re: Suspension

why progressive when when Hagon will make and deliver next day to your requirements.
Donna had some 18 month ago delivered next day about 110 quid, they wernt right went back new set a day later no quibble no cost (the fault was mine not their's )

air in the tyres can help under such circumstance

how easy?
very.
if you have nothing else a bottle jack can help, but obviously one shock at a time;)

Re: Suspension

I fitted Progressives to my sporty, they worked fine but 1 month out of warranty one started leaking (3000 miles). I E.Mailed the makers and the answer was buy some new ones. Don't think so. I fitted Hagons but they are a bit hard solo even on the softest setting. Fine loaded up.
