| Piston Broke
Well, finally got round to sorting the Sportster Missfire/Blown headgasket.After probs on RFL First remove tank notice coil lead broken (haha got ya) One down to go .Next take front head off. huh! that don't look right . ![]() Part of top ring & piston missing .No damage to bore, bits gone out through exhaust .Had Tony @ AA check them over, everything Aok.New piston and rings ordered.Back on the road next week;). Bike('88 xlh1200) done 65K original piston & bore mistery as to why it happened? Any thoughts. Hawgste
