Re: cutting out!

Apparently, the SE (screamin' eagle) modules are cheaper than the oe module!

Re: cutting out!

I had a the same thing on my 99 sporty when it was a couple of years old. It would just stop dead, no cough or splutter, just like hitting the kill switch. The MoCo had trapped two of the wires to the tilt switch behind the switch bracket and they had finally worn through. It might be worth checking but you need to take the battery and battery carrier off to get to the switch. You need to take the switch off as well to check behind it. It took me 2 months to find that one.

Re: cutting out!

Are there any diagnostics to look at?
Turn on the ignition, turn on the engine stop.
The yellow engine light should come on for 4 seconds then go off and stay off.
If it comes back on either steady or flashing, you/we can look at the diagnostic codes to maybe trace where the problem may be.
