| Handling and lowered bikes
I could throw my old 1990 bike around no problem, handled really well, but my new bike is a lot lower and handling has gone right out of the window. The forks are 1 1/2 inch lower for some reason (with inserts to stiffen the springs), and the back has Hargon shocks which are a lot lower than my old Koni's. Is it normal for lowered bikes to be bad at handling? I think I will switch the forks and shocks over. Any one know about replacing the seals and re-building Koni's? |
