Newbie needs 1200 sportster advice

yes I have been thinking of just doing thr direct access than I can forget about all this hassle with the restrictor. Cheers guys

Ensuring that the bike is down to 33bhp isn't just a matter of fitting the right restrictor. When they fitted mine they didn't just fit the restrictor and leave it at that. They dynoed it to make sure it was down to 33bhp. I was told this was normal procedure. Do you know if they did this with yours?

The dyno, and labour charges, presumably acount for why they charge £100 for it; the part lists at £25.93!

Well it's coming off in a couple of months, then I need to decide what pipes to fit.
