| Seat mounting threads
Does anybody know what the correct thread size for the bolts that hold the seat on? Its a '91 883. Reason I ask, bought a rack to fit behind the solo seat and supplied bolt is a coarser thread (UNC) than whats in there (UNF), but it does seem to thread in fairly easily. I also need to get a longer bolt to go through the front mounting as the existing one is too short to go through both the seat and the rack. Don't want to knacker the threads in the mudguard with the wrong bolts Thanks, Grumpy |

Hi Grumps! normally when you buy a seat bolt they give you two, for that very reason I guess, the threads do go easily, on my Softail I have had to put a nut underneath. I guess that I'm no help what so ever DOH!
