NGK Iridium Sparkplugs

Has anyone used these new iridium spark plugs?

About 18 quid on ebay - just wondered wether it was worth investing.

Hi Boothy,

No experience of this product yet. We have started using the normal NGKs as our standard Harley plug and have had no problems yet. We binned the Accels we normally stock due to "product quality issues".
Is the 18 quid for two plugs? If its 18 quid each, you are getting skanked.

Sounds like these plugs will do everything except wash the dishes!
Most Harley riders have been struggling on with the old style cheap plugs for years, and in the lightly stressed environment that most Harleys live in they seem to stand up OK. I think these high performance plugs could be justified in high performance bikes or applications where long life is desirable. Lets face it, most people change their plugs because they look "mankey", which is usually long before the plug has reached the end of its service life.
By the way £18 quid for two is OK.

Me Bruvver uses 'em in his 04 Sporty and swears by them - cleaner burn or something like that, and he says they last longer. Plus it keeps me happy, as he buys the things off me of course!!!
