Re: yes no maybe i dunno confused now :(

I too suffer from that dreadful uncureable disease " garageitis & the afore mentioned chrometis " not very pleasent let me tell you, luckily my bike is stored in the garage underneath the restaurant & the other half knows little of my plight, apart from packages that arrive at home, which i say are samples.
Please give 2 pounds a week to help thank you

Re: yes no maybe i dunno confused now :(

its done, the decision has been made and my lusting for a Nightster is over i have make do with my Heritage and my sporty make that my new sporty whooo hoooooo the xl1200n arrives home shortly then goes back in 3 wks for the full stage one the dealer thru in to clinch the deal short shot pipes, fuel pak and se filter in Olive and black denim and money off made the deal they even hunted to find the bike as i did not want it in any other colour, i know its not everybodies cup of tea but i like them and its what i would do to a sporty given time which i really do not have as i enjoy riding to much see ya on the road i will be the one with the stupid grin and a very dirty bike, clean it yeah when i cant tell what colour it is
Ride safe and thanks for the tips

Re: yes no maybe i dunno confused now :(

well the beastie is home and parked up i had a few extras added mainly cos i do like chrome and i love the Willie G skull collection so it now resides on the bike and looks the mutts nuts i will get some pics once the camera has charged but so far it feels like an old pair of slippers and the handling looks like its got the ability to startle dozing sports bike riders.

Re: yes no maybe i dunno confused now :(

it does mention they have steepened the rake up but i woul dnot have though that would do the much and it does have higher rear shocks than the normal sporty.

she sees the pics of the Nightster and says get that one i like that one (she knows i like it also), she will never ride on it as its a solo machine and we have a Heritage for touring and 2 up riding.
i am now totally confused do i say whooo hooo and go buy the Nightster (i like the green and black ) or do i continue converting my 883c to 1200/1250.
i am helpless as i know why she want me to have a new 1200 it means i dont spend as much time in the garage pulling the motor apart as i am compulsive tinkerer and suffer from chromeitis
Must be nice to have two bikes, I would like two bikes, but I only have one wouldn't get another one in the shed anyway moan moanI want two bikes Sorry not beer tent
