Re: yes no maybe i dunno confused now :(

Looks the biz there mate- just lovely and that's the colour I'd have gone for too. Now all you have to do is fit a nice round retro air box, drop the rear suspension, get the US style number plate side mount off ebay, bin the dunlops fit Avons, upgrade to EBC pads, smoked indicator lenses and hey presto full blown garageitis.

I believe in self medication!

Re: yes no maybe i dunno confused now :(

the rubber bits on the forks are to add £600 to the fork seal repair when they go as they cost £350 and cost £250 in labour to remove joking apart i think they are just for show and serve no practical purpose but i could be wrong

Re: yes no maybe i dunno confused now :(

Guess the gaiters are to protect the fork tubes from coroding and pitting resulting in tearing up the main fork seal.

Fitted them to an old YAM XS650 i once rebuilt, gives a retro look but in reality serves little real purpose.

Glad you are pleased with the bike to be honest, not really to my taste, but whatever flicks your switch.

Simon.

F*cking A, mate!

Devoid of a lot of crass ‘over-the-top’ nasty chrome add on’s.

In my opinion, this is what a Sportster should look like!

Good choice, it looks the B*llocks!

Re: yes no maybe i dunno confused now :(

A great looking bike, I do like the two tone paint on the nightster.

I keep looking at them and think about replacing the 883R with one, but can't think of a damn good enough reason other than I like it to do it!

I think the grey cases look a treat, I liked that look on Kitty's custom.
