| Hagon Shocks Read a thread a while ago about Hagon Shocks, have their contact number, and know(from my early biking days back in 70's) that they make good products. Question ? My 2006 1200 Sportster low, grounds out a little too easily on some corners (suspension pre load already jacked up).and no I am not a fat ******* ! I am seriously considering 1 " longer shocks, Do you think the front fork springs will need changing as well (Sportser lows have(I think) 1" shorter progressively wound springs than previous sporties). Any other mods worth considering to obtain a better ride and a little more clearance ? |

| Re: Hagon Shocks Why not go in stages with the front end. Try a higher grade of oil first. It would stiffen them up a bit, stop them diving so much, if that is the problem. If that doesnt work, then go for the springs. |

| Re: Hagon Shocks The Nightster has the front forks off the low but the rear shocks off the 883R and it is suppose to be the best handling sporty.

| Re: Hagon Shocks I've got an '89 Hugger in the garage that I'm planning to get sorted one of these days (Long story) and I had the same sort of problem but I changed the rear shocks for Progressive Suspensions 'Black Widow' shocks and it cured it straight off - oh I did put their springs in the forks as well.

| Re: Hagon Shocks Common issue. Replace the rear shocks and uprate the front springs. |
