| those of you who have helped with advise a big thanks . now my question is do/does anyone know the air gap between rotor and pick up ? its a crane hi 4 (8-2100) and i noticed on the stator plate they have/looks like adjustment screws to adjust the gap , which is crucial to optomun spark/firing and clean burn of cylinder ( as you all know anyway) can u help ( we have a gap setting on cars electronic ) same principal as points gap/dwell angle yours jaybe (john) ps sorry to drag this on but if its an engine its gotta be spot on if not better still ( more power )

| Re: another question about ignition but diffrent If they are two ling screws that sit in slots..Don`t touch them. That is the timing adjustment. You will have to get it re-timed. The air gap is set.
