Couple of points /my next thoughts.. which I would be interested in hearing anyone thoughts on..
i) The front forks do bottom out when I sometime hit any modest pot holes - is that normal? - Anything I can do to resolve it?
ii) Maybe its just me, but I can not really get out of second anything less than 45-50mph and can only really get into 5th when heading around 65-70 mark, is that the norm? If I try and pop around in 4th at 50 it moans and groans at me!
ii) OK ok - I admit it, I need to change the standard pipes - they don't sound too bad if you are on your tod but I'm really feeling the need for something a little ‘mature’! but not to loud as to pee off the rest of the street! I've heard about 'slip on' which I can just slide on and will increase the tune - anyone one have these / can make a recommendation? ( I don't have budget for a stage one at the mo )
iii) Forward controls! Ok this has always been on the card since my legs are a tad cramp.. Where the best place to buy them , I really wana have a go fitting them myself.
Mmm - any other suggestions? What have other folks changed ?

1 the front forks are off the Sportster low and yes they do bottom out very easily, you could change the oil weight in them to see if that imporves it otherwise you need new springs
2 save up and do it properly, the FI bikes are lean from the factor and adding a pipe will make it leaner - not good
3 best forwards for the bike are the ones from HD not cheap but they fit and youwill be able to complete the installation yourself
