Thanks for those links Hobbit.

I certainly think I will be spending more time on that site... The video also showed me which is the clutch cover. :-)

Would I need to place a new gasket on if I open the clutch cover?

not if your careful you will be able to reuse the old one

I will try and post a pic from the clymer manual for the 04-06 its the same process just looks different

It's been styled to look like something but you could almost make one out of Meccano.

What it really needs is someone to make them in stainless with the scale highlighted in black.
