One additional benefit of Buckhorns is that they set short stem mirrors well outward from the bike and help overcome 'elbow in mirror syndrome.'

There are lots of handlebar choices, all of which are fine for shortish day trips. But for serious distance work, why endure pain and discomfort when you should be enjoying yourself? (Unless you can combine pain and enjoyment in a Max Mosley sense ).

Chris, perhaps we could form a new club?
